AMEX’s Small Business Saturday Selects The Trenchless Co. As A Top Sacramento Area Small Business
PRESS RELEASE – NOVEMBER 15, 2012
Sacramento, CA – The Trenchless Co., a third generation Sacramento plumbing company which was the first area provider of Trenchless plumbing technology has been honored by American Express & Clear Channel as one of 5 Top Local Small Businesses leading up to AMEX’s Small Business Saturday on November 24, 2012
In recognition of The Trenchless Co., company owner Max Greenberg was interviewed regarding his outlook on small businesses in the local economy with snippets being aired across 5 area stations.
When asked about the role of small businesses in the local economy, Mr. Greenberg commented that, “It seems like when people talk about the economy, they talk about national statistics, but the reality is that recovery is going to happen on a community by community basis. As our business grows, we have been employing more people in our community.”
This perspective is based on experience for Mr. Greenberg. Over the course of the last year, the company has grown to double the number of jobs in its service technician department, and is forecasting continued growth and added jobs over the next year.
At a recent awards ceremony for 10 year and 5 year employees, Mr. Greenberg commented, “The best thing about being a business owner is working with you all for so long – it’s like we’ve grown up and built our lives together. As we are growing, it’s great that we can welcome so many new people into our company.”
Max Greenberg started the company at the age of 22, since it has grown to employ over two dozen employees.

About The Trenchless Co.
Max Greenberg opened The Trenchless Co., on January 1, 2000. Located in downtown Sacramento, California, The Trenchless Co. is a state of the art plumbing shop, equipped with all of the latest technology and a facility for ongoing employee training.
Max’s success in the plumbing industry was no surprise to his family, as he is a third generation plumbing contractor in the Sacramento area; his grandfather and father having both owned and operated successful plumbing companies. Max’s inspiration for The Trenchless Co. came to him while working at his father’s company. He came across a new technology called “Trenchless” that allowed damaged sewer lines to be replaced without digging…which meant no destruction to the homeowner’s yard and no mess left behind. Max realized the importance of this new technology to the plumbing industry, and envisioned forming a company around it.
